OBJECTIVE To determine whether multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the prostate (mpMRI) combined with MRI fusion technology during transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy can enhance the detection of significant disease in patients with apparent low-risk prostate cancer on active surveillance (AS).
