摘要

We read this report with special interest and congratulate the authors for achieving a 100% success rate without tissue interposition. The question is whether we should now believe that tissue interposition is no longer needed for posthysterectomy, simple, ves-icovaginal fistulas (VVFs). The answer to this question is difficult. The reason being that the predictors of successful repair have not been defined for VVF (unlike other urologic procedures such as urethroplasty and pyeloplasty).
