Murray Energy cites EPA's 'existential challenge'

Oral arguments are set for April 16 in Murray Energy's ongoing legal challenge of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's proposed Clean Power Plan. Murray, joined by a host of other parties, intervenors and "friends of the court", submitted briefs last week in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, in preparation for the oral phase of the case. Murray, based in St. Clairsville, Ohio, originally filed suit June 18 in the same court and is now responding to the respondent briefs of EPA and its supporters.
