IHS energy experts don't expect much slowdown on the legislative front in the momentum of proposed EPA carbon rules. The Republican sweep in the early November midterm elections "really doesn't change our outlook on the Clean Power Plan (though) a GOP congress could create a delay," said Patty DiOrio, IHS CERA director, Power Generation & Technology. She and other IHS energy industry analysts spoke Tuesday during the monthly Coffee & Coal webcast, taking a broad range of questions from energy industry executives.
