摘要

Weather forecasters said that Jan. 7 was the coldest day of the century. Natural gas prices are set to go up this week according to most analysts. And that means coal is ... fill in the blank. As of Jan. 3 with predictions of the coldest day of the century were already on the table - granted, it's still a pretty young century - the impact on coal prices was still a work in progress. One trader said that the weather is obviously good for energy producers and gas producers and likely coal producers, but the impact is going to be more of a mild bump instead of a spike.
