It certainly is not time to rush to re-open temporarily idled mines or ramp up production at any operations, but activity among domestic utilities consuming Illinois Basin coal might be on the verge of experiencing a small revival in fuel purchasing. A little RFP action has emerged, and there are evidently signs of somewhat better pricing for some products of late.
