Nova Scotia Power in the market for H2-2013, 2014 coal, petcoke

Nova Scotia Power is searching for coal and petroleum coke to meet partial fuel needs through next year. The utility is soliciting for up to 400,000 metric tons of low-sulfur coal for the second half of 2013 and through 2014, according to McCloskey. It also seeks as many as 450,000 tonnes of petcoke to cover requirements for three years beginning in the third quarter of this year.
