Look for a lot of coal to be moving between the first of the year and the end of March. Hope that there's a lot of coal still moving after that. A lot, if not most, of the contracts under which U.S. suppliers are moving coal overseas to Europe end at the close of the first quarter. Expect a lull in shipping seaborne coal between now and the end of the year before things pick up again in early 2013.
