Brahamputra Cracker to give fillip to plastics industry in North East

THE Brahamputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) at Lepetkata near Dibrugarh, Assam is expected to give a huge boost to the downstream industries such as plastics in North-East Region. Having a capacity to produce 3 lakh tonnes of polymers per annum, BCPL was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also commissioned the wax plant of Numaligarh Refineries Limited, on February 5,2016.
