PVC has a significant role in medical devices and in protection for medical use. PVC is supplied in a range of specially formulated hardness covering PVC-U thru PVC- P for use in blister packaging of pharma products plus a host of other products due to its excellent features such as rigidity for protection, ease of handling, transparency to see the packed product and adequate strength even in low thickness like blister packs and lids for containers.
