First polyolefin solid-wall pipe line for 2.6 m pipes sold

THE South Korean pipe manufacturer Hyundai Pipe Co., Ltd. (Hyundai Pipe) from Sang Ju City is soon to add large solid-wall PO pipes with a diameter of up to 2.6 m to its product range. The company has therefore ordered the key components of the extrusion line from battenfeld-cincinnati (Austria/Germany), to be installed in the last quarter of this year. With the high-performance solEX 120- 40 single screw extruder, the helix VSI-T+ pipe head with active intensive melt cooling and the vacuum tank that has been designed particularly for large diameter pipe extrusion, the line produces high-quality large diameter pipes made of polyolefin, which can be used for applications such as transporting water in power stations.
