Rains were hampering thermal coal production inIndonesia even as demand from China had started to slow in theweeks leading to the Lunar New Year, while Indian demandremained subdued on improved domestic coal availability, sourcessaid Friday.According to a Singapore-based trader, Chinese buyers were still inthe market for cargoes of Indonesian low-CV coal, but the number ofinquiries was slowly diminishing.
