Nova Scotia Power issues RFP for up to 750,000 mt of mid-sulfur coal

Nova Scotia Power said Wednesday itis seeking to purchase a maximum of 750,000 mt, plus orminus 20%, of mid-sulfur coal for delivery starting in thethird or fourth quarter of 2015 and continuing through 2018.The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based subsidiary of Emera said in aformal request for proposals it may buy 50,000 mt to 150,000mt for delivery in the latter half of 2015, and 50,000 mt to200,000 mt for delivery in each of the three successive years.
