The vessel queue at Newcastle’s Port WaratahCoal Services terminals continued to increase in the last weekto a year-high of 34 on Sunday, according to a report releasedMonday by the Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator.This is an increase of nine vessels week on week andreflects low coal arrivals at the two PWCS terminals becauseof ongoing repair work on the Hunter coal rail network thatwas shut on April 20 following storm damage.
