Trading of industrial wood pellets ground to astandstill in Northwest Europe this week, with severalparticipants out of the market on holiday and those remainingsitting out until the start of the re-stocking season next month.Platts Friday assessed the weekly price of CIF NW Europe‘I2’ industrial wood pellets basis 17 GJ/mt for delivery withinthe next 7-45 days, July 24-August 31 at $162.50/mt,nudging up 50 cents on the week.
