South African junior miner Universal Coal saidTuesday it had been granted the integrated water use licencefor its 74%-owned, export-focused, Roodekop project,allowing it to begin development of the mine.It said in a statement that it now has all the approvalsrequired to allow it to fast-track mining activities to startbefore the end of 2014.
