Singapore—A small rebound in Chinese steel prices in the last week failed to have a clear and immediate impact on imported metallurgical coal spot prices, market sources reported Tuesday. This seemed to be confirmed by the latest deals, bids and offers, which pointed to a continuation of the gradual decline in prices seen since the recent peak in mid-September.
