Spot coking prices eroded by lower offers as sentiment turns bearish

Singapore-A number of seaborne metallurgical coal sellers offered lower prices for hard coking coal and PCI Friday, after sentiment was hit late this week by a sharpening downtrend in iron ore, coke and steel. Platts assessed both premium low-vol and second-tier HCC $2.50 lower at $145/mt FOB Australia and $130/mt FOB respectively. The declines come after a period of relative sta- bility in the past two weeks.
