Jatenergy ships out first thermal coal from Jongkang mines

Australia-listed Jatenergy said Monday it has shipped out the first thermal coal cargoes from its Jongkang I and Jongkang II mines in Indonesia’s East Kalimantan province. The company shipped out Monday an 8,000 mt bargeload of coal to a buyer based in Singapore — as part of a deal announced in February — as well as a second 3,000 mt cargo to an unidentified spot buyer.
