China's Shanxi Province mined 255.8 million mt of crude coal in January-April, up 18.3% on-year, according to a May 23 release by the Shanxi Coal Industry Department. Of that, April coal output represented 71.43 million mt. Shanxi sold 179.4 million mt of coal to other regions in January-April, up 7.7% on-year, with April sales representing 46.4 million mt.
