Asian ethylene prices were assessed flat day on day and up $20- $40/mt week on week Friday. The market started the week on a bullish note, with CFR Northeast Asia bids crossing the four-digit mark after a $90/mt jump in Southeast Asia prices the week before, and with the availability of Asian-origin cargoes tight. Ethylene producers in the region were largely selling their output in local markets amid bullish demand, reducing export volumes for H2 November.
