The CFR India marker was assessed down $8/mt week on week at $880/mt Wednesday. A trade was heard at $880/mt CFR India, Northeast Asia origin. Another deal was heard at $870/mt CFR India, Iranian origin, but this could not be confirmed. Offers for ethylene-based PVC were heard at $850/mt FOB Northeast Asia or around $890/mt CFR India, against little buying interest. Discussions were quiet as most participants were waiting for new monthly offers to start next week before making more purchases, a source noted. Domestic prices in India fell by Rupees 4,000/mt this week, further dampening the already bearish market sentiment. The CFR China marker was assessed flat at $855/mt.
