The Northwest European virgin bottle-grade spot price was assessed at Eur875/mt FD NWE Wednesday, down Eur30/mt, while the net contract price was assessed at Eur895/mt, down Eur30/mt. Platts last assessed PET prices on December 16. The market has not yet picked up from the Christmas and New Year lull, with some market players still away on holiday.
