US spot ethylene prices climbed this week despite production restarts at two major Texas-based producers. Prompt-month pricing gained 1.5 cents/lb for the week, with November assessed Friday at 24.50-25 cents/lb FD USG, while December gained 1 cent/lb on the week to an assessment of 24.50-25.00 cents/lb FD USG amid active trade. Stronger markets followed talks of completed restarts.
