Market fundamentals remained balanced, with demand slow to steady, sources said. The majority of US producers were running at reduced rates amid weak margins, sources said. Production costs for US ACN based on raw materials were around $950/mt for December, sources said. However, the market could be at a bottom and see upward movement in pricing as a result of recent shutdowns in Latin America and upcoming maintenance in Asia and Latin America during the first quarter of 2016, sources said.
