US polypropylene export pricing gained $22/mt for the week, assessed Wednesday at $1,279-$1,301/mt (58-59 cents/lb) FAS Houston for homopolymer injection grade and at $1,301-$1,323/mt (59-60 cents/lb) FAS Houston for co-polymer. Prices moved higher following talks of tightening spot availability ahead of upcoming turnarounds, an ongoing force majeure and climbing feedstock prices.
