Northwest European styrene value for barges loading 5-30 days forward was assessed at $945/mt FOB ARA Friday, down $15/ mt from Thursday’s $960/mt and declining for the third consecutive assessment. Week on week, prices fell $7.50/mt from $952.50/mt at the same point last Friday. Despite the falls over the last three days, market participants remained bullish on the price outlook as limited supply would strengthen the spot market going into March.
