Asian paraxylene fell $7/mt on the day Friday to $768/mt FOB Korea and $789/mt CFR Taiwan/China, with deals for December cargo trending lower on the back of weaker upstream and downstream markets. Two trades were heard offscreen during the Platts Market on Close assessment process, both for December deals, with one deal at $780/mt and another at $788/mt CFR Taiwan/China.
