North African polyethylene spot prices rose for LLDPE, and LDPE, by Eur10/mt, and Eur30/mt respectively. LLDPE, and LDPE were assessed at Eur1,300/mt, and Eur1,320/mt respectively. HDPE was assessed at Eur1,300/mt. HDPE was stable. Prices rose on tight supply, and solid demand, sources said. Prices did not increase as steeply as in Europe because “Europe is in a specific situation because of duties and force majeures,” a source added.
