US spot butadiene was stable week on week, assessed at 29 cents/lb CIF USG Friday as sources said the market could be nearing a bottom, as crude prices rebounded this week. The assessment remained below 30 cents/lb for the first time since May 22, 2009, when it was at 24.50 cents/lb CIF USG, according to Platts data.
