Asian styrene monomer fell $10/mt day on day on a CFR China basis to $1,171.50/mt Friday, and FOB Korea fell $15/ mt to $1,147.50/mt. Week on week, however, CFR China rose $91.50/mt and FOB Korea rose $86.50/mt. Domestic China prices closed the week at Yuan 8,425/mt or around $1,136/mt on an import-parity basis. Domestic prices were down Yuan 125/mt day on day and up Yuan 430/mt week on week on the back of firm demand and tight supply.
