US propylene contracts posted a second consecutive increase this week as spot pricing saw pressure from strong production levels. US polymer-grade propylene was assessed Friday at 29.00-29.50 cents/ lb FD USG for November deliveries, steady week on week. December was assessed at 29.00-29.50 cents/lb FD USG, also unchanged for the week. Refinery-grade propylene was assessed Friday at 18.75-19.25 cents/lb FD USG, down 0.50 cent/lb for the week.
