CFR Far East Asia acrylonitrile prices continued to slump this week, down $80/mt from a week before to be assessed at $1,550/mt Tuesday. Demand from China was sluggish as the Lunar New Year holidays start this week. There were no firm bids of offers seen, but sources said that since supplies were ample and demand was weak, there was downward pressure on CFR FEA prices.
