Low-density polyethylene import assessments in Latin America were higher week on week following rising offers from competitively priced markets. Pricing in Peru increased $25/mt week on week, assessed Wednesday at $1,305-$1,315/mt CFR basis, as market participants talked the offers from the US and Europe higher this week. Competitive priced US- and Europe-origin offers appeared about 2 weeks ago into the region amid rising offers from Asia.
