European paraxylene prices rose $18/mt from Thursday to be assessed Friday at $755/mt FOB ARA on a pull exerted by prices in Asia and on support from feed mixed xylene. Two traders, who aimed to procure cargoes on FOB ARA basis pegged their buy ideas at $750/mt FOB ARA. Asian PX firmed $26/mt day on day to be assessed Friday at $830/mt FOB Korea and $852/mt CFR Taiwan/China.
