Similar to polystyrene, Northwest European ABS spot prices rose this week as sentiment continued to turn more bullish. Contract price settlements for February provided further evidence of more bullish fundamentals, as decreases of Eur20-Eur25/mt, and in some cases up to Eur30/mt, fell behind the feedstock cost reduction, sources said. February was described as the strongest month in terms of demand in the past six to nine months.
