BP’s purified terephthalic acid facility in Cooper River, South Carolina, should return to full operation in March, a company source said this week of the nearly 1.3 million mt/ year site. The source said the restart activities should be complete by early March. The source said one of the two Cooper River PTA lines has been running fine, but the line affected by an August fire has been operating at a rate around 50-55%.
