Latin American ethylene trade picked up as regional producers were heard exporting surplus material to Asia this week. Brazil’s Braskem and Dow Argentina were scheduling unspecified export volumes for laycan in late February to early March, sources said. Both companies use the bulk of their ethylene for the production of polyethylene and other downstream applications.
