Italy’s Versalis agrees to license its EBSM technology to KBR

London - Italian petrochemicals producer Versalis has agreed to license its ethyl-benzene and styrene monomer (EBSM) production technologies to global engineering and construction company KBR Inc. which will provide support to deliver the license packages to clients, the company said in a press release Wednesday. Ethylbenzene is the precursor for chemical intermediate styrene monomer.
