Braskem’s increased year-on-year production was partly due to steady demand in Asia, a company source said at the 35th annual Latin American Petrochemical Meeting in Cancun, Mexico earlier this week. “Butadiene spot demand was good in 2015” the source said. “(Asia) is where all the cargoes are going right now.”
