Propylene spot prices rose this week on a lack of availability. Polymer-grade propylene prices rose Eur35/ mt week-on-week to Eur921/mt FD NWE Friday, while chemical grade propylene prices rose Eur36/mt to Eur879/mt FD NWE over the same period. European petrochemical plant production problems and refinery maintenance further tightened regional propylene supplies this week, sources said.
