Co-polymer and homopolymer in Latin America were flat week on week. The Carnaval celebration in Brazil slowed the market, sources said. In Peru, higher prices are keeping the sources away from purchase decisions. Homopolymer was assessed at $1,650-$1,660/mt CFR Peru with offers from Chile heard at $1,680/mt CFR basis. Deals from India and Asia were heard at significantly lower levels were also heard, but market participants said those deals did not reflect the current market.
