Despite expectations for June US polystyrene domestic contracts to settle 1 cent/lb lower than May, a producer announced an increase for July. Total Petrochemicals and Refining USA will increase prices on all grades of polystyrene by 5 cents/lb ($110/mt), effective July 1, according to a letter sent to customers Monday and obtained by Platts Tuesday.
