The HDPE markets in Latin America were stable, although multiple offers were heard in key South American countries. However, buying interest was thin, sources said. In Brazil, offers were heard at levels consistent with last week. Several of them were to be paid using cash in advance (CAD), which does not meet Platts’ methodology for payment terms. Therefore, those offers were not used in the assessment. HDPE film was assessed flat at $1,645- $1,655/mt CFR Brazil.
