European ethylene spot prices were marginally higher on the week, at Eur920/mt FD NWE, recouping last week’s losses of the same magnitude on the back of uptick in naphtha. Bid-offer ranges were heard at Eur920-930/ mt FD NWE in the market this week. The CIF Northwest European Naphtha cargo value was assessed at $917/mt Friday, $5.50/mt higher on the week. Propylene dynamics continued to behave in the opposite direction.
