Houston — The US chemical-grade propylene contract price for February was nominated by Shell Chemical at 75 cents/lb Wednesday, 2 cents above January’s level, sources said Wednesday. ExxonMobil Chemical in late January proposed a 1-cent increase for chemical-grade and polymer-grade propylene contract prices in late January, sources said. The nominations would move the company’s prices to 75.50 cents/lb and 74 cents/lb for PGP and CGP, respectively.
