Styrolution Europe restarts PS plant in Wingles, France, after maintenance

London — Styrolution Europe is in the process of restarting its polystyrene plant in Wingles, France this week, a company source said Wednesday. The 180,000 mt/year PS plant, which consists of two lines — a general purpose grade polystyrene and a high impact polystyrene line, both of equal capacity — was shut at the beginning of June for maintenance. The GPPS line was shut from June 1 for three weeks, while the HIPS line was down from one week to 10 days.
