Asian monoethylene glycol rose $37/mt week on week to be assessed at $1,001/mt CFR China and $1,004/mt CFR Southeast Asia Friday on late-week surging Asian purified terephthalic acid futures. Prices were weaker early in the week, when CFR China deals were concluded for early July-arrival cargo at $978/mt and $974/mt.
