Asian polypropylene import prices were mostly higher due mainly to stable downstream demand in China and India. The CFR Far East Asia polypropylene markers for both raffia and injection grades rose $5/mt week on week to be assessed at $1,510/mt, with notional deal levels nudging higher this week. “Import prices were playing catch-up with the recent gains in Chinese domestic prices.
