EDC: Spot prices were steady week on the week, assessed Thursday at $410-420/mt FOB USG, as spot offers for April loading cargoes were heard at $430/mt FOB USG, with buying interest heard at $410-420/mt FOB USG level. Market sources were closely monitoring ethylene and PVC prices in Asia as price declines were expected to spread further into demand for US source product, one trading source said on the sidelines of the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers’ annual meeting, which ran through Tuesday in San Antonio, Texas. Upstream, in ethylene, US prices were assessed Thursday at 51.75- 52.25 cents/lb FD USG, steady week on week, as April ethylene was heard bid at 51 cents/lb Mont Belvieu Williams pipeline, offered at 52.75 cents/lb MtB Wms and traded at 51.25 cents/lb MtB-other.
